Who we are

Goldbeck (Pvt) Ltd is a Zimbabwean construction, land and property services company with its head office at 108 Palmer Rd, Milton Park, Harare. For the purposes of the Zimbabwe Cyber and Data Protection Act [Chapter 12:07], Goldbeck is the data controller for personal information collected through this website.

What we collect

Contact details you give us: your name, email address, phone number and any details you include in a project brief submitted through our contact form.

Customer records we create when we work with you: your contact details, area and budget of interest, preferred contact channel, and notes from our engagements with you.

Basic technical data when you use the site: pages requested and, where available, your IP address, which our server logs to keep the site secure and diagnose faults.

Why we use it

To respond to your enquiries and prepare quotations (performance of a contract, or steps before entering one).

To manage ongoing work, property listings, leases and aftercare (performance of a contract).

To follow up on briefs you send us and keep our records orderly (our legitimate business interests, balanced against your rights).

To secure the website and our console against misuse (our legitimate interests, and a legal duty).

Who sees it

Goldbeck staff who need it to serve you. We do not sell your personal information.

We share it with third parties only where necessary: for example, professional partners such as architects or conveyancers working on your project, our hosting and email providers processing data on our instructions, and authorities where the law requires disclosure.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not convert are kept for up to 24 months, then deleted or anonymised.

Customer records and project files are kept for as long as needed to serve the relationship and to meet Zimbabwean tax, audit and limitation-period requirements, after which they are securely disposed of.

Your rights

Under the Cyber and Data Protection Act you may ask us for access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it where the law allows, and object to or restrict certain processing.

To exercise any of these rights, email info@goldbeck.co.zw with proof of identity. We respond within a reasonable period, and you may lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority (POTRAZ) if you are not satisfied.

Cookies and security

This site uses a strictly necessary cookie to keep staff signed in to the console, and may use analytics cookies to understand site traffic. No advertising trackers are used.

We protect personal information with access controls, encrypted transport (HTTPS), and audit logging of console activity. No method of transmission is perfectly secure, so please do not send sensitive documents you are not comfortable sharing.
